Adriana glanced in the direction he pointed and shrugged. It wasn’t her job to inform him of the rockfall ahead.

She helped the quiet teen to his feet.

She could tell by the way he took a deep breath he was about to sing. She pointed the weapon at him, a glare of mayhem in her eyes.
