Payment\Billing system in Russia

Recently, I worked with a company, which I think, is from Russia. They tell me that they do not know that a PO/Invoice system is. So, what payment/billing system do the Russians use?

I work for a lot of Russian companies and they use the same P.O./invoicing system as in other countries. It sounds like you may be dealing with a company that is not used to working with freelance translators. Just explain to them what it is. Also, once someone told me they didn't know what a P.O. was but I just sent them a copy of my terms and conditions instead. Everything went fine with these clients. So just explain to them what it is and send them your own terms and conditions instead.
