Hi --



Has anyone had troubles translating PowerPoint slides with animation?



There is apparently a known bug in the software. It severely corrupts slide animation in certain cases.



In a large project we\'ve been working on, we\'ve discovered this affects many slides from certain authors who use a lot of custom animation. Basically, Trados is useless for translating the slide because you have to go back and repaste your translation ... See more

What I\'m wondering is: Has anybody else found a decent way around this problem?



Would be very happy to hear from anyone about this. (And I only hope that Trados will make an effort to fix this problem ASAP.)

Did you contact Trados support with this problem?



As another alternative, did you post this message in the forums on www.translationzone.com?

No help from Trados Apr 18, 2002

Trados acknowledges the problem exists. But so far they have not gotten back to me about a fix for it.



I tried posting on the Trados side (translationzone.com) a couple of times but have never heard a peep out of anyone there.
