Any one know how to get hold of Trados 2007? This is what some clients/agencies are asking me for, but it seems to no longer be commercially available.

SDL will stop supporting v2007 by End of Year so...

Last year, that version could be purchased as an extra when purchasing Studio 2011 > it could worth checking with an SDL sales person via live chat maybe if they still offer it?
However, to my knowledge, SDL has decided to stop supporting version 2007 by the end of this year so it may not be a wise expense... Number of my clients are also still with 2007 but I could work on a lot of their projects if they provided TTX files.

AFAIK, you can only get it as part of a Studio 2011 package. Just go to the SDL Trados Shop and you will find it:

... we will no longer be supporting Trados 2007, but this is not the same as Trados 2007 Suite and it is the Suite version that you can purchase with Studio 2011.

Hi,
Unless you have to connect to a Trados 2007 TM Server, or a MultiTerm 2007 Server then you may well find that you will be able to deliver to their requirements with Studio 2011. I would ask the question because many clients ask for Trados 2007 and are served by Translators working with all kinds of tools.
Regards
Paul

I apologise if my question may have seemed a bit basic, but I am a relative beginner in this sort of software and all your answers have been most helful.
