I regret to say, but after its triumphant run through the database the robot seems to stop its activities completely.

Henry said it will be running everyday. I do not know if it is necessary to load the good old guy with everyday browsing, but once a week or something seems to be ok. Anyway, it does not check nor old neither recent questions anymore, that's why the posting.

Site staff and moderators are aware of the issue Sep 10, 2003

Hi Kirill,

We have raised this issue with Henry and Jason a couple of times now so that they should be aware of the problem. Both autograding robot and reminder messages to close questions should be revived. I suspect that the silence at this end is linked to the new KudoZ design.

Best regards,

Steffen Walter

Steffen Sep 10, 2003

Dear Steffen,

I\'ve raised the question recently, please check the thread:

http://www.proz.com/topic/13551

But after the date (Aug 25) the robot stopped going through questions. Before that he had at least checked \"2 week old\" questions. Not now, AFAIK.

...that you perform a routine robot run covering the last six months? Or would this take too great an effort?

Steffen

my problem solved - thanks Sep 10, 2003

I've received a tip from Kirill:
http://www.proz.com/topic/11483
My answer was declined by the asker - back in the dark pre-Beta ages, so I couldn't figure that out myself.
It's useful to know that the new design illuminates the reason for the decline, too.

Thanks again,
E.

Robot back from holidays Sep 10, 2003

I suddenly received some twenty messages today about questions successfully graded by the robot. I almost became a kudoz leader all of a sudden!!
Well, really, at the moment I couldn't figure out the reason behind this sudden storm of kudoz points. Then I came upon this thread and...

Now - I admit it, I don't follow-up my pending questions. So thank you Kirill for raising the issue, and thanks Henry and site staff for your tenacity - this robot's a lazy guy, we all know that.
