我的一个香港同事曾经做过一个研究，PM2.5每立方米增加10个微克，呼吸系统的疾病的住院率可以增加到3.1%。要是灰霾从25个微克增加到200微克，日均的病死率可以增加到11%。刚才谈到那个问题，灰霾不光是对呼吸系统，对心血管、脑血管、神经系统都有影响，但是首当其冲地还是呼吸系统。北京十年来肺癌增加了60%，这是一个非常惊人的数字，应该说空气污染是一个非常重要的原因，造成这样的一个情况。所以我想不单是人们所感受到的咽炎、鼻炎，或者眼睛的病症，现在从更长远地考虑，对人体造成更大的危害还在后头。
