Translator should be credited in academic paper?

Never bothered me Jul 12, 2024

although in principle translators should be acknowledged.

What i find interesting is the number of translators to whom would apply: "with friends like these who needs enemies".

I did not limit myself only to interpreting and translating, and in no other profession I have insider knowledge of I have ever seen so many people acting against their own profession.
