Recommendations for a good Italian>English technical dictionary

I was interested in buying a very large and very good Italian>English technical dictionary. I was wondering if someone could make a recommendation. Of course, it isn't hard to find dictionaries on Amazon or elsewhere. It's just you don't want to spend a lot of money to find out the dictionary you just bought isn't all that helpful. This is particularly the case as technical dictionaries seem to be much more expensive than other dictionaries.

Marolli, Zanichelli and Picchi

Get all three of them as CD-ROMs only (I'm sure that both Marolli and Picchi are available separate from the paper version, not so sure about the Zanichelli). Marolli is a good (though in many cases dated) general technical dictionary, strong on industrial and mechanical things, no so much on more modern subjects (e.g., computing). Zanichelli is an excellent scientific dictionary, especially good because of its definitions (which are either very skimpy or absent in Marolli). Pi... See more
