The red coral diver must know the right spots to go diving. Once on location, he has to dive deep, around 80 meters and sometimes a "few meters more." He is armed only with a battery flashlight, like a tiny light balloon, like a very slow shooting star on an empty sky; deeper and deeper, he goes into the darkness. When he finally reaches his destination, he has some fifteen minutes left for practical work before returning to the surface with his precious cargo, which can last up to two and a half hours.
