I lived in England for two years when I was little so I manage the language almost as a native.
Several years ago I translated into Spanish the English help and msg files of a Jigsaw puzzle game (BigJig) and the author of the program gave me the registration key in exchange for my work.
I have a lot of experience with computers and software because I've always been very interested in downloading software I may need and I always read all I can about it before downloading, mostly in English. And after installing I read the help files, mostly in English so as to understand how to use the program.
I manage Internet Explorer, Firefox, MS Word, Outlook Express, Corel Draw in English or Spanish alike.
Whenever any of the software I've installed fails, I try to solve the problem by my self, searching for information through the Internet and I usually solve it providing it's not a hardware issue.
I’ve been working for Softdeluxe since November 2007, translating online all kind of English software descriptions into Spanish. I’ve translated 324 descriptions, I’ve never had a rejected translation and I’ve reached a 4.9 rating (the highest possible being 5) and I have been recently promoted because of my good performance.
Since February 2008 they've started a different project regarding software reviews online where I've been working too and I’ve done around 386 software reviews till the present.
