I was born in Korea and immigrated to the United States when I was fifteen.
I barely had 1 year and a half of English education at the time (they taught English beginning Junior High at the time in Korea), but learn the language quickly enough to get into UCLA.
I have master's degree in molecular biology and have 9 years of laboratory research experience. I have academic and industry experiences in molecular biology, immunology, genetics, biochemistry and proteomics.
I have now graduated from law school and have become a patent agent (Registration No. 62,122). I am currently waiting for my bar result to become a patent lawyer. I will be applying to full time positions when I am admitted to the bar. While I am waiting, I am currently working as a temporary document reviewer involving Korean language lawsuits.
I have experience in translating technical documents, emails, flyers and a musical. I am comfortable in translating Korean to English as my education in English is more advanced, however, I am able to translate English into Korean.
