I am a Dutch freelance translator experienced in the following fields : translation, proofreading, transcription, subtitling and interpretation of diverse topics, like ICT, engineering, environment, tourism, technical manuals, media-related texts, TV-programs, newspaper articles, political and social texts, EU-related texts. I have translated from English, Swedish and Danish into Dutch.

I have completed a traineeship at the European Parliament in Luxembourg as a translator and have since then a.o. worked for translation agencies cooperating with the EU. Further, I have got experience with interpreting for the Swedish Embassy,the Swedish Trade Council in Brussels and the VRT in Brussels (national tv channel).

In recent years I have gained a lot of experience within the medical field while working for a market research company. I have been taking care of translations, mainly into Dutch, of market research questionnaires for both patients and physicians, quantitative and qualitative studies, online as well as telephone questionnaires, and everything that comes with it, such as consent forms, adverse event reporting forms, etc.

I also have experience transcribing and analysing market research interviews.
