If I were to talk about translations in a few words I would say: it's a hobby, it's a passion for words and for giving them a meaning....the proper meaning.
However, my professional background as a translator goes back in time (learning the languages and putting them into practice) and will hopefully continue to develop:
I've been studying both French and English since 1993, years that include primary school, high school and the university. During high school and university my major was French language and literature & English language and literature. After graduating I started to work in translations, taking employment as a full-time translator dealing mostly with official documents. After one year, I started on my own as a freelance translator/interpreter and I specialised in business, law (general), literature, arts&media, EU matters, government&politics, fields that I have worked with for the past 4 years. I also worked for an airline, where I started to take interest in this field and to expand my knowledge in aviation and travel&tourism.
National and international recognition: Certificate of French Language and Literature issued by the Embassy of France (June 2001); BA in French and English (July 2005); Translation and Interpreting Certificate - French and English (June 2006); Associate of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting here, in UK.
I am constantly trying to improve my skills, my terminology and the services I provide, all the while putting passion and creativity into my entire activity.
