Source text - English "This was an appeal by appellant, a well-known politician, against the Court of Appeal's decision allowing the prosecution's appeal against the dicision of the High Court. The appellant was convicted by the Court of Appeal of committing carnal intercourse against the order of nature pursuant to s 377A of the Penal Code against the complaint ('PW1") aged 22 years old, and sentenced to a tern of five years' imprisonment.
Translation - Malay Kes ini merupakan rayuan oleh perayu, seorang ahli politik yang terkenal terhadap keputusan Mahkamah Rayuan yang membenarkan rayuan pihak pendakwaan terhadap keputusan Mahkamah Tinggi. Perayu telah disabitkan oleh Mahkamah Rayuan kerana melakukan persetubuhan yang bertentangan dengan aturan tabii menurut s 377A kanun keseksaan penal kod terhadap pengadu ('SP1') yang berumur 22 tahun dan dijatuhi hukuman pemenjaraan selama lima tahun.
