Bio

I am a French-English and Spanish-English translator based in Cornwall, England.

I have an MA in translation and a BA in Romance languages (I majored in French, Spanish and Italian).  I have been a translator for three years now but I have been working with languages for over 8 years.  I am looking for work in the following areas:

- Literary translation (sci-fi/fantasy is my preferred genre)

- Environmental/sustainability translation

- news articles

- editing/ proofreading

I am also a full member of the CIOL (chartered institute of linguists).


I am an avid reader in my personal life and some of my current favourite authors are Christina Henry, Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. (I would love to find similar authors in French and Spanish!) I'm based in Cornwall, England so lots of beaches, pasties and tourists is my 'normal'!
