Bio
I have completed my post-graduation degree in Literary and Cultural Studies from The English and Foreign Languages University Hyderabad, one of the premier institutes for language studies across Asia. Malayalam is my native tongue and I am professionally efficient in English. I have been localizing since the early days of my graduation days. I find it very interesting how words work in different languages, different, yet so similar. Having a deep connect with Malayalam, I have a keen sense of colloquial terminology and local idioms and sayings, which helps me localize in a way which is not literal but natural. I have experience localizing content related to marketing, UI, legal, Help & Support etc. across industries such as social media, finance, banking, pharmacology, entertainment and media, gaming, real estate, virtual currency etc. I have localized various Android/iOS/Windows apps and websites and I have a good understanding of how tags and placeholders work. I am looking forward to opportunities in consecutive interpretation as well as localizing content from English to Malayalam and vice-versa.
