English to Kurdish: Health Declaration
Source text - English Explanations to the questions on the health declaration form
Thank you for agreeing to donate your child's umbilical cord blood.
The purpose of the questions is to ascertain that the blood is safe for possible future
recipients.
Here we provide additional explanation to the questions we ask.
Questions 1 and 2: Adoption and donation
If the pregnancy is the result of an egg or sperm donation or if you yourself are adopted, it
may be difficult to know if there are any hereditary diseases in the family. If this is the case,
please answer the questions according to what you know. We also need to know which egg
or sperm bank you used in order to, when required, gather information about which rules
and regulations about donors' health are applicable for that specific bank.
Question 3: Blood relation between parents
A close blood relation between the child's parents may increase the risk of hereditary
diseases in the child. We do not approve a donation if the child's parents are first cousins.
Question 4: Medication
Drug treatment during pregnancy may in some cases affect the baby.
Questions 5-8: Hereditary diseases in the family
Hereditary diseases in the family may, depending on the hereditary pattern in some cases,
be transferred by the umbilical cord blood; in particular this applies to the diseases that
affect the blood, the immune system and haemostasis (in bleeding disorders), or the body's
metabolism. The list below shows examples of diseases which mean that donations cannot
be accepted:
Congenital anaemia: hereditary types of anaemia (thalassemia major, sickle-cell anaemia,
Blackfan-Diamond anaemia)
Translation - Kurdish After the war of "Chalderan" until the end of the First World War and the fall of the Ottoman empire and simultaneously with the continuation of the consecutive revolutions of the Kurdish nation by the Begs, the Khans and the Sheik of Kurdistan.
Although the time difference between these are some centuries, that is, 1514 to 1917, but the termination of these two wars meant division and occupation of the Great Kurdistan. Initially, the results were two parts, one under the Ottoman rule and the Safavid disaster and finally after the end of the first world war, the result after the "Sykes-Picot" treaty was the division into four parts; a Persian, a Turkish, an Arabic Iraq and a part of Arabic Syria that became occupied.
However, a few centuries in between these two wars, the Kurdish Political Movements were in general nationalistic and pro-independence. Most Kurdish principalities were a semi-empire, some of which, according to historical documents, had their own currencies and planned for tax collection and budgeting in a scientific way.
This speaks for itself of the existence of a context of a geographic policy and the classic Kurdish state.
Even in the great revolutions of "Sheik Abdullah Nahri" and "Simko Shekak", their movements were based on ethnic liberation and were nationalistic. In their revolution there were influences and ideological influences from the Kurdish principalities or from the previous Kurdish states.
This sort of globalization and ideology regarding the quest of the Kurdish nation dominated the revolutions and the revolutionaries in the four parts of the Kurdistan until the end of World War II. In other words, until the end of World War II, the consecutive Kurdish revolutions, were national liberation revolutions and demanded for the establishment of a Kurdish state and the right of political self-determination.
1- From 2007 after the 8th conference and the separation of Revolutionary Union of Kurdistan, after studying our then slogan and our political ideology we had outlined, not only that we rejected federalism and con-federalism as a Kurdish right in East Kurdistan, but also, we considered it's as a sort oppression against the Kurdish people. In other words, we discussed these two forms that during the 1900s when occupation powers and the superior nations in a sort of way had a headwind, virtually agreed on anything, just to not divide the political geography and they continued to exploit the oppressed nations in new ways. It was in connection to these that we chose four slogans: "Liberation, Independence, Kurdish State and Social Justice". Based on this principle, we proclaimed the national enlightenment. From the city of Ilam all the way to Urumiya, wherever we got the opportunity, we enlightened the people about our right for own state.
This was the first point. The second point: If the international community during the 1990s openly rejected this, even though they do not support it, at least they do not reject it at the moment. That is to say, on the domestic level, but also in the international arena, the circumstance has never been so appropriate for a pioneer party to discuss the right of the Kurds to their own state. The era of embarrassed nationalism is passed, and the Kurdistan Revolutionary Union is the founder of a political nationalism and through these formulas reveals its difference from those parties advocating federalism in Iran.
Despite extreme shortages of resources, the Revolutionary Union of Kurdistan, as a pioneer party, pursuits its struggle for the legitimate political demands of the Kurdish people in Eastern Kurdistan, that is, liberation, independence, Kurdish state and social justice. On this path after a river of blood and sweat it has reached 25 years and our history is red with the blood of our founder comrade "Said Yazdanpanah" and dozens of other cadres and dead Peshmergas. In this sacred path our faces are still red in front of the Kurdish people despite this giant resource scarcity.

Source text - English It also appears from the information provided during the hearing that the applicant, when living with his X, has essentially carried out a X’s duties - leaving the houses in the mornings and returning in the evenings. Both when traveling outside of the country for several times and going for a visa to travel to X, and, possibly, when carrying out the X's duties, the applicant to a certain extent appeared in public. However, the circumstances of the case suggest that there was no real threat to the applicant from that. The applicant's X and other relatives continue to live in X, in their previous places of residence. Consequently, although the Court did not doubt that the applicant was afraid for his own security, it has, however, indicated that the circumstances of the case do not necessarily indicate that the applicant would be at risk in X. Therefore, the refugee status was not granted to the applicant.
In assessing whether an alternative status should be granted to the applicant, the Court concluded that the applicant, in X, is not in danger of being sentenced to death or its execution. In the light of the findings made in analyzing, whether the applicant was to be granted the refugee status, the court also did not find that the applicant could be subjected to serious injury in his country of origin upon his return, which manifested itself as torture, inhuman or humiliating attitude towards him or his inhuman or humiliating punishment. In the light of the information provided by ministries of X and other countries, as well as by international organizations such as the United Nations, published data, the Court also recognized that, while the overall security situation in X is not stable, the X province is considered relatively safe. The Court therefore decided that the alternative status should not be granted to the applicant.
The judgment of the Court shall be final and shall not be subject to appeal
