My name is Felipe Mercader Martínez and I have been working as a freelance Spanish game localizer for the last 9 years: https://nextlevellocalization.com/
I am highly specialized in game translation and localization, having worked in several game genres and types of project, ranging from AAA titles to indie games, on almost every platform: PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Mobile, browser and desktop games, etc. I also have extensive expertise with several CAT tools such as memoQ 2015, 2018 and latest versions and SDL Trados, 2015, 2017, 2019 and 2021.
Moreover, I work with several other translation software tools in the market like Transifex, Memsource, Crowdin or Wordbee. I'm very familiar since I have a background as a localization engineer as well and I often handle tasks involving terminology and files management or filter creation with regex.
Please visithttps://nextlevellocalization.com/portfolio-clients/ to check my full portfolio if you are interested. I have +175 titles under my belt after a decade in game localization, but here you can find a summary of my recent projects:
Elden Ring - 550,000 words - Complete review and team coordinator for Spanish localization
Lost Ark - 1,250,000 words - Review
Anthem - 130,000 words - Translation

Regarding my clients, I usually work with publishers and localization agencies, but I’ve also worked directly with studios and devs. Concerning the genres, I mainly translate RPGs, tower defense, medieval, fantasy, simulation, strategy, CCGs/TCGs, war/military, graphic adventures, and action games, but I worked in most genres existing in the market: casino, fighting, educational apps, racing or sports, to name a few.
Apart from actual in-game text content, I also handle all types of marketing/legal translation related to games: press releases, marketing copies, legal texts, EULAs, etc.
My language pairs: English and French into Spanish (Spain)
Don't hesitate to let me know if you need more information about my services or in case you want further information about my rates. Hope we can work together in the near future!
