Dennoch besitzen beide Kartentypen ein einheitliches Kontaktfeld. Es wäre auch der reine Wahnsinn, wenn jede Kartenart oder sogar jeder Hersteller von Chipkarten ein eigenes Format mitbrächte. Erst durch Industriestandards und internationale Normen ist ein flächendeckender, herstellerunabhängiger Betrieb mit vertretbaren Kosten möglich. Das ist natürlich nicht nur auf das Kontaktfeld begrenzt, sondern fängt schon mit den Abmessungen einer Chipkarte an und geht bis zu ihren Übertragungsprotokollen und Befehlssätzen.
Die Standardorganisation mit der größten Bedeutung für Chipkarten ist die International Organisation for Standardization. There are two editions of XXX available in addition to the demo version on our website. The standalone edition includes the Blaze client database and access to XXX for Windows. The Client/Server Edition provides access to multiple servers. This includes any version of XXX and XXX version 4.2. XXX for Macintosh is not currently set up for direct SQL Server access.

Windows installation notes
If you install XXX for Windows without sufficient memory on your computer, the installation routine may run very slowly. If this happens, close all other applications and try to run the installer again.
If you reinstall XXX for Windows and you do not delete the XXX group in the Windows Program Manager during the installation, you will see the icons for this group twice after the installation.
You may see error message(s) Error 301 and/or Error 105 when you run SETUP.EXE. This usually happens if you run the setup program several times in a row. These errors are caused by some DLLs not being properly unpacked when the Setup program is run. If one of these errors occurs, restart Windows and run Setup again.
The amount of hard disk space required for the installation may not be displayed correctly under 'Custom Installation' in the Windows Setup program. This can happen if you select 'Minimum installation' as an alternative before clicking 'Custom installation'. You can view the hard disk space required by (1) clicking 'Custom', then (2) 'Files', and then (3) deselecting all components and (4) selecting the ones you want to reinstall.
The Windows installer will not copy all the OLE DLL files until it has checked to see if other versions are installed on your computer. If there are, you will be asked if you want to replace them or not. They will be replaced even if the installed OLE2 DLL files are the same as the ones you want to install. No backups are made at any time. You should therefore make a backup of all the DLL files before starting the installation.
