Bio
I am a professional and qualified translator and proofreader with over 8 years of experience in the industry. I have worked as a Project Manager, In-house Translator and Freelance Translator, the latter being my current position, which I have performed for 5 years on a full-time basis.
My language pairs are EN>ES and FR>ES.
I studied a Degree in Translation and Interpreting (major in Legal and Financial Translation) at the Autonomous University of Madrid and an MA in Specialized Translation (Legal and Financial Translation) at the University of Córdoba (Spain). My university education is also complemented by some short specialization courses that I have taken, such as a Course in Legal and Financial Translation (Calamo&Cran), a Course in Company Law for Translators (Academia de Traduccion Juridica) and a Course on Spanish Correctness and Style (Autonomous University of Barcelona).
Throughout my career, I have acquired a wide experience in translating documents related to the Legal, Financial and Marketing field for renowed clientes located all over the world.
I also have an expert knowledge of CAT tools. I usually work with memoQ, and I am also familiar with SDL Trados, as well as several web-based CAT tools (Smartling, SmartCAT and XTM).
All in all, I offer professional translation and proofreading services where an outstanding quality and timely delivery are the main priorities.
