I wanted to be a Math Teacher.
But I used to translate my favorite song's lyrics in high-school. My dad bought me a pocket English-Spanish dictionary and my life changed for good. I liked translating so much! I learned a lot, I spent my free time studying things I didn't know about English and the differences between both languages. So, one day, my mom asked me "why don't you study to be a translator instead of a math teacher?" and my innocent 17-year-old brain exploded! I didn't know I could do that! 💡 And that's how I found my dream job.
Today, after a long life of studying, traveling, learning, bumping into obstacles, and continuing working towards my dream, I can finally say I am a translator, and that I work with dictionaries, in my pajamas, surrounded with my color papers, planners and favorite markers.
📆As I was growing up, I have also developed a love for graphic design, colors, and planners. I am a Bullet Journal fan who recommends this system to anyone who'd be interested. Organization and planning is something that makes me feel comfortable, confident, and relaxed. And if you can be practical, but also make it colorful, inspirational, and beautiful, you start your day smiling and ready to work.
💡My interests also include IT, Video Games, Literature, and Music. I am a mom of two young boys and I enjoy singing and playing the guitar and ukulele.
