I am a freelance English to Polish, Polish to English translator based in Gdansk, Poland. Currently I reside in Vancouver, BC, Canada. My field of expertise includes advertising & Public Relations, computer hardware, computer software, computer systems and networks, computers (general), copywriting, education/pedagogy, games/computer games, gastronomy, IT/E-Commerce/Internet, law (general), linguistics, localization, media/multimedia, slang, telecommunications. Due to my studies I have extensive experience in English philology, linguistics pedagogy, psychology, teaching methods and related terminology.

Although I am a new translator, I am not a typical beginner translator. In addition to my five years of intensive studies in the field of English Philology, literature, linguistics and translation I have a B.A in English Philology and linguistics. Recently I become a member of American Studies Association. I also gained additional insights into the translation industry by conducting market research, as well as taking courses on translation techniques, software and business practices.
