Experience
Years of experience: 10. Registered at ProZ.com: Sep 2012.
Audiovisual translation, media accessibility and Healthcare Interpreting are my fields of specialization. I hold a certificate in Healthcare Interpreting from City College of San Francisco, a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpretation from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and a Master’s degree in Audiovisual Translation: Subtitling, Dubbing and Localization from Universidad de Cádiz.
As a translator and interpreter, I continue to supplement my work with enrollment in a wide variety of relevant and diverse courses which add value, knowledge and new perspectives to my work.
More than seven years working as a language educator has also taught me that transparency, communication and dedication to customer service are the keys to professional development in any vocational activity.
My interest in cutting-edge technologies means that, in addition to my regular use of specialized software for translation, subtitling or audio description, I am also willing to make use of any new tools which will facilitate translation work and ensure deadline reduction and, overall, improve the quality of the final product.
