I graduated in Translation Studies in July/2011 but I started working with translation in August/2010. Since then, I have been working in a company that registers health products in the Brazilian Health Surveillance Agency.

I translate highly technical texts, such as surgical techniques, mechanical test reports, sterilization validations, manufacturing processes, and so on. My translations are usually sent to the Surveillance Agency so they can evaluate the product we are trying to register. I also visit the international manufacturer to audit their manufacturing process and assist them in adapting it according to Brazilian standards.
