My native language is English. I have been a student of Spanish since 1995 and my fluency is very near that of a native speaker. I also have a basic understanding of Italian and Serbo-Croatian.

Prior to working for Inlingua, I worked in the information services department of General Motors for 3 years, and prior to that, in the credit department of Montgomery Ward for 6 1/2 years. I often assisted in the editing and production of Spanish-language documents and training materials.

I recently wrote a training course for Court Interpreters. I completed an editing project for the Texas Board of Prisons and Paroles. I recently translated the government telephone pages from English to Spanish for several U.S. cities, including San Diego, CA, San Gabriel, CA, Fort Worth, TX, and San Antonio, TX. And most recently, I completed the editing of the Spanish version of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Manual for the Mine Health and Safety Administration.

My pricing is very competitive. My rates are accessible under the "rates" section. Payment needs to be in U.S. Dollars through Paypal.

On translation projects, I only charge the translation rate for the sections that I translate. Untranslated sections are charged at the editing/proofreading rate.
