Born in Spain, grown up and educated in Switzerland I am a language addict of the most impossible type. Fortunately it is quite unthinkable to get a professional formation in the German speaking part of Switzerland (Basle and Zurich) without mastering English. English has been my Success-Guide par excellence in my studies and professional outcome.
So it is not as surprising that I even made it up the hill to English Philosophy, I owe to the English World (National Parcs of the USA, Antigua, Canada, Alaska and Australia) the most beautiful panorama sights of my life. Thank you to you all, for preserving nature and blessing us with scientific insights on a Campbell Biology level. Sociologically, I got to know some of the best German students (not Spanish) I ever had, for Spanish the leader being a Swiss one -after a stage in Mexico.
My objective to acquire investigation skills lead me to nutrology, vitaminology as a scientific pharmaceutical and health political field, mainly with German and Spanish as target languages. In translation criticism I started with a German version of "Hundert Jahre Einsamkeit"/"Cien años de soledad" by Gabriel García Márquez. I am sure nobody is sad that I did not try to translate it into English. Interlinguistic analysis and thematic proximity gave rise to a bundle of questions referring to fields like investigation in psychology, medicine and social sciences. Sometimes I managed to leave some footprints.
Translation being one of my favourite topics in life, I can really encourage you: TRUST ME - even if you don't speak Italian.
