Spanish to English Medical Medical (general)
Aumento en la densidad del epiplón, este se localiza en el hemiabdomen izquierdo.

I don't believe this translates as hemiabdomen in English. Hits on the internet for that term all seem to be either Spanish or questionable Spanish to English translations.

There may be a difference between radiological and clinical findings: radiologists do use the word hemiabdomen, whereas clinicians would say "left abdomen". It's a radiology report in your case, right?

It's not given in Dorland, but... I should have started by saying that I don't think your skepticism is warranted. The references I found had authors with "English" names, and I have heard the term often.

Lots of references to hemiabdomen 1,900 references to 'left hemi-abdomen'; 1,450 references to 'left hemiabdomen'
If you read them, you will see that they refer to the location, not a condition.
