español term

Vicepresidente de Banca Corporativa (E)

español al inglés Negocios/Finanzas
This appears in a Venezuelan credit agreement. Can anyone tell me what "(E)" means?
Please limit answers to that question. ¡Gracias!

Vice President Corporate Banking (a.i.)

E means "encargado" or ad interim. That is, somebody else is the VP but this particular person is temporarily in charge.

I checked in Dicionario de banca y finanzas (Dictionary of the Banking System and Finance) published in Venezuela in 1998. That year I Interpreted in a case with FOGADE (Venezuelan equivalence of the FDIC).

I don\'t know what the (E) stands for from experience, nor is it in the banking dictionary.

Since we are talking a coporate vice president, it would make sense that there would be one domestically (Venezuela), and another one for overseas.

Mike :)
However, \"E\" could stand for \"extranjero\" which is \"foreign\" or \"overseas\".
