This term keeps appearing in a Corporation Tax Return, sometimes abbreviated as 外. Also 内書comes up, but not so often. It's difficult to give a context as the the terms come up in isolation, but they look like they describe some kind of attribute of a financial figure. Does anybody have an idea?

内書き can mean included in the total and 外書き means the opposite though the term is not often used in accounting.

If it is used as a noun, it seems to refer to a separate entry field.
There is an example of such fields in the second page (page 83) below, and in page 5 of 7 (page 87), 外書 is used as a term to refer to an entry field:
... 税ついては,別表六㈢1欄の外書に記載する。
