On a Gesundheitsbescheinigung issued regarding the import of live fish into the UK
TIA for any help. Would 'farm' be an appropriate translation for Betrieb?

(a farm on which a ban was imposed under) animal disease legislation
OR (a) farm(s) banned under animal disease legislation
"farm" sounds OK to me. You may also consider using "***veterinary*** legislation".

Many examples on the web for \"fish farm(s)\", e.g. http://www.cbc.ca/disclosure/archives/030204_salmon/main.htm... - so that should be a safe bet.

Ruxi\'s \"quarantine\" is actually a good idea. I\'d say \"farm(s) under quarantine (in accordance [under] with veterinary legislation)\", though.

\"tierseuchenrechtlich\" also \"in terms of [under] animal health regulations\", cf. EU sources with parallel texts

epizootic quarantine under law
epizootic is scientific for animal-borne disease epidemic, but perhaps 'animal disease epidemic under quarantine law' would be sufficient.
Fish is raised on a 'fish farm', processed at a 'fish-processing plant' and sold by the 'fish monger', as far as "Betrieb" is concerned
