chioma cerebrale

Italian to English Medical Medical (general) cause of death
I have a death certificate from Albania for a man who comitted suicide by a firearm. Everything but the cause of death is in Albanian, but the phrase for the cause, "chioma cerebrale", looks like Italian. I get two Google hits at Italian sites but I do not understand Italian. What could it mean?
Proposed translations (English)

1 cerebral coma (assuming it's misspelt Albanian: koma cerebrale)

My old Italian-English dictionary ... (CollinsSansoni 1988) has "coma" in English for "chioma" in Italian - but in the context of astronomy, kind of a shining layer around a comet. Wiktionary has two different etymologies and meanings of coma - ancient Greek κῶμα (kôma, “deep sleep”) and κόμη (kómē, “hair”). No wonder we are a bit confused. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/coma

That might explain the use of "Italian" - but surely coma (assuming that's what koma means in Albanian) is not a cause of death.

More names in the brain are taken from trees:
The celebral cells resemble to foliages (trees)
There are branches from which departs other little branches and so on...
Then the cortex as well -> corteccia

For extention chioma could have referred to the cortex instead like in the only 2 ghits for "chioma cerebrale". Anyway I've missread the question! Thanks! ^_^

cerebral coma (assuming it's misspelt Albanian: koma cerebrale)

I tried to browse resources in Albanian such as news articles that contain the phrase. Since I don't know Albanian, I tested them on Google Translate and it seems the meaning 'cerebral coma' fits quite well. A little caveat: this assumes that your original document misspelt the word 'koma' which lead us into thinking it's either Latin, Greek or Italian.
