MA in Translation vs. Certificate in Translation

Since I just started my translation studies, I have been reading a lot about different translation certificate programs and Master's programs. I came across an interesting two-part article about the debate over whether or not to get an MA:

It comes down to what you prefer... with a small catch Jun 20, 2013

The small catch is that having your M.A. doesn't prevent you from getting that certificate and having both!
