What translation project are you working on right now?
I'm translating 10 personal documents from Spanish to English for an employment visa application 1 user A day of interpreting for medical appointments, including onsite, via video and over the phone. I'm interpreting for occupational therapy, a specialist pain clinic and an ENT clinic. Training materials: I'm creating some health interpreting resource materials for a PD course designed for sign language interpreters. I completed a remote simultaneous interpreting job this morning via Zoom, an academic conference on the topic of Covid-19 and the social sciences. Really interesting subject to prepare. Creating medical interpreting resources for a training course for AUSLAN (Australian Sign Language) interpreters. A day of Spa<>Eng video interpreting for medical appointments, including specialist rheumatology, epilepsy and pain clinics, and a medical assessment appointment for an insurance claim. Client education on how to set up Zoom interpretation for remote simultaneous interpretation for an upcoming conference. I spent the day interpreting (SP<>EN) at Covid-19 vaccination outreach clinic which aimed to assist vulnerable people, such as those living in community housing or at risk of homelessness, to access vaccination. 1 user Creation of English subtitles for "Nuestras Voces", a feature length documentary which tells the stories of Spanish and Latin American immigrants to my home city, Melbourne.
