Schedule:This session ended at 17:50
Description:Preparing a quote is an inseparable part of a freelance translator's routine. Most translators feel that it is time-consuming, boring and uncomfortable. However, it is, in most cases, the key part of your communication with a client. It is often your quote that determines whether you would close a deal or not. The purpose of this session is to show quote preparation is a different light, revealing its creative and marketing aspects. We will discuss how a quote can convey a message about your professionalism and unique qualities of your business and serve as a powerful marketing and communication tool.

Learning objectives - reveal marketing and creative aspects of a price quote - explain how a quote can serve as a communication tool - review successful and unsuccessful quote templates - teach how to make your quote transparent and add a personal touch.
