I´ve had difficulties in breaking in to this area and would like tips on how I can get doors to open for me.

I'd like to target smaller, independent companies in the tourism and hospitality industry but have found they are more likely to use a translation agency because they require the same text translated in 3/4 languages, for their brochures for example, or a marketing communications company that can provide a complete service including copywriting, translation and printing. I'm considering teaming up with some colleagues to offer a multi-lingual service and possibly collaborating with a copywriter and printing company to offer the complete package when needed. Has anyone tried this strategy? Was it worth the effort?

Interested in how to approach small and medium size companies focusing in Latin America for Medical Tourism and the areas of expertise translators need to specialize on.

A general approach on a topic that many esteem as "easy translation" and accept peanuts for it. How to present to a client that touristic translation includes Marketing, literary, advertising and technical translation, not to speak about a possible legal part? And therefore should have an according price.

I really need to know how to step in into this area of translation
