Bio:I am a 53-year-old medical practitioner who has just ceased working at the Therapeutic Goods Administration after 8 years. I have a medical degree, an MBA and an MPH.
While at the TGA I noticed the high level of variability in the quality of German to English medica...l translations which were submitted in relation to therapeutic goods regulatory submissions. It seems to me that there is an unmet need for good quality German to English medical translations.
I studied German at Monash and went to Germany as an exchange student. I am currently planning to sit the NAATI German to English professional translation examination in the next few months with a view to doing German to English medical translations.
