Inspect each line item listed in this checklist and place an X in the appropriate box to validate the inspection. There are three acceptable categories as follows:
Complete
Incomplete
Rework
An example of a “Complete” item is verifying the fiber optic cable is stubbed through conduit in foundation.
An example of an “Incomplete” item is verifying the fiber optic cable is not stubbed through foundation conduit. The fiber optic cable is sometimes installed after the turbine. An “Incomplete” item requires entry on the turbine specific Punch List with reference to the document and line item numbers.
If an item requires rework, enter the item number, a brief description, and check only one box either rework complete or rework incomplete.
If inspection description is separated by a line within the same step the upper inspection may only be applicable to the Americas Pole. Ref 1.1

7.1 MAKING READY FOR USE
Depending on storage situations only general quide lines can be given.
The cover and lashings should be removed and stored, normally not on board the boat.
Check that the painter is attached. Disengage the external power.
Check that stowage compartments are closed, loose objects are secured and the steering is fully operative.
Pump fuel to the engine with the hand pump according to the engine manual.
Twist the battery key under pilot`s seat and turn on the engine switch MAIN SWITCH on instrument panel.
Check fuel quantity on gauge.
For starting engine see engine manual.
Before putting to sea the engine shall be started and run at low RPM until it idles smoothly and then be stopped.
NB: The water impeller can be damaged if the engine is run expressively out of water.
7.2 PUTTING TO SEA
During lowering the engine should be restarted so that it is fully operational when the boat reaches the water. When putting to sea the boat usually has a crew of 2.
The coxswain`s responsibilities:
The engine shall be running, ready for use when the boat reaches the water. The boat shall be manoeuvred alongside the mother ship until the lifting wire and the painter are released.
The crewman`s responsibilities:
Keep the painter tight to prevent the boat from spinning. Release the lifting wire on command. Release the painter on command.
