Source text - Persian (Farsi) واقعیتش این هفته همه افکارم مثل یک کلاف پیچ خورده بود و دوست نداشتم رشته‌های این کلاف را بازکنم و در موردش فکر کنم. فقط از بیرون تماشا می‌کردم. برای همین هم دوست داشتم جلسه عقب بیفتد.
-چی بود این کلاف سردرگم؟
-میگم بازش نکردم
-چه حسهایی داشتی؟
-حس ناراحتی-پذیرش اجباری
-پذیرش چه چیزی؟
-زندگی
-اتفاقی افتاده این هفته؟
-اتفاقی هفته پیش افتاد، ولی بعدش خوب شدیم. ولی درمجموع حتی دلم نمیخواست با این حسها درگیر شوم.
-چه اتفاقی افتاد؟
-بحثی بین من همسرم پیش آمد.دعوایمان شد بعدش هم خوب شدیم.
-بحثتان بر سر چی بود؟
-بحث سر به اسم زدن مطب بود.قبلا به شما گفته بودم که نمیخواهم بگویم. جمعه گفت من میخواهم یک کلینیک تاسیس کنم بیا با هم پول بگذاریم برای این کار.بعد من نصفش را به اسم تو میزنم.ومطب فعلیت را میفروشم و هزینه ساخت آنجا را تامین میکنم.
Translation - English -To be honest, my thoughts this week were like a tangled web that I didn't want to unravel or even think about. I just tried to be a bystander. This is why I wanted to postpone the session.

- As I said, I didn't unravel it.
- What were your feelings like?
- I was unhappy or forced to accept.
- Accept what?
- This life.
- Did anything happen this week?
- Something happened last week. But then we made peace. I didn’t even want to feel that way again.
- What exactly happened?
- My husband and I had an argument. It sparked a quarrel. Then we made peace.
- What was it all about?
- It was about signing over the dental office to me. I've already said that I don't want to talk about it. On Friday, he told me that he planned to open a clinic and asked me to pool my money with his to build it. He said he was willing to transfer the half share of the clinic on the condition that I allow him to sell my office to cover the costs.

Source text - Kurdish دایک و باب دلیان خوشه و خه‌نی بوون خوا کوریکی داونه‌تی. مامان ناوکی ببره و مزگینی و هه‌ق دس وه‌رگره! باب هه‌ر به په‌له به‌ر له حه‌وتم په‌ل بووه ناو بو تاقانه‌کی بدوزیته‌وه. له‌و دمه‌دا که مژده‌یان داوه‌تی، خه‌ریکی خویندنه‌وه‌ی کتیبیک بووه که زوری له خوش هاتووه. ده‌سا به‌خوا ناوی نوسه‌ری ام کتیبه له کوری خوم دنم. خاوه‌ن کتیب «عبدوره‌حمانی سیوتی» بووه و زانا و شاعیر و میژووانیکی له‌زه‌بره
Translation - English I can picture how my parents felt that day: they must have felt like they were walking on air since the Lord had given them a son. The midwife may have been rewarded for cutting the newborn's chord, and no sooner had it occurred than my father was seeking for a suitable name for his one and only son. My father was reading an excellent book by Abdurrahman Suyuti, a prominent scholar, poet, and historian, at the time he heard the wonderful news.

Source text - Persian (Farsi) جلوتر کە رفت صدای خس خس بلندتر شد، ناگهان موجودی استخوان بە دهن گرفتە نمایان شد. شایان آرام آرام طوری کە نگاهش بە موجودە باشد، با یک دست پیچ کوشتی و با دست دیگرش چکش را بە حالت تدافعی محکم در دستانش کە می لرزیدند نگە داشت ولی موجودە برخلاف انتظارش همچون سگی خانگی کە مشغول خوردن تکە گوشتی باشد داشت استخوانی را تکە تکە می کرد و با ولع میخورد. اینبار شایان بە دقت نگاهش کرد، موجودی بود با موهای ژولیدە خاکستری ، گوشهایی دراز و شل ،پشت خمیدە، دهانی بزرگ کە تا بن گوشهایش کشیدە شدە بود، پاهایی کوتاه با شکمی بزرگ و شل ، دمی دراز. جرئت کرد جلوتر برود،بقایای استخوانهای کە موجودە خوردە بود آنجا پخش و پلا بود. مات و مبهوت فکر کرد بهترە در مورد اتفاقی کە افتادە با شادی کسی کە تنها مورد اعتمادش بود صحبت کند.
Translation - English The crunching sound got increasingly louder as he moved forward. A creature with a bone in its jaws arrived out of nowhere. Shayan wanted to defend himself by clutching the screwdriver in one hand and the hammer in the other, without looking away from the creature. But, to his surprise, the creature began chewing a chunk of bone avidly, much like a domestic dog eating a cut of meat. Shayan inspected it cautiously. It had shaggy grey hair, long lop ears, a crooked back, and a large mouth that reached all the way to its earlobes. It also had short legs, a big soft belly, and a lengthy tail. Shayan dared to come closer and saw the fragments of the bone that the creature had been gnawing a few seconds before scattered all over the place. Stunned, he decided to speak to Shadi, the only one he trusted.

Bio
I began by translating challenging Persian literary works into English. Some of these pieces are extremely complex to read. That’s how I decided to study Persian Language and Literature at university in order to fully understand and analyze Persian classics. That's how I began my B.A. in Persian Language and Literature at Kurdistan University some years ago and ended up with a Ph.D. in 2018 at Guilan University.
My multilingual upbringing added to my interest in translation and interpretation, and I tried to expand my horizons by studying Persian-English translation in subjects such as philosophy, history, linguistics, and art.
Throughout my professional career, I've translated a number of books, articles, and documents from English to Persian and Persian to English.
I now work as a freelance translator/linguist for two reputable Iranian translation websites.
