Jose is a writer and video producer from La Paz, Bolivia. In 2012, he earned a Bachelor Degree in Communications and Social Studies. Later, in 2015, he won a scholarship to study writing for film and television at Vancouver Film School, where he also won an internal award for Best Script. This experience allowed him to break down the Spanish-English language barrier, and has been using this new set of skills ever since. Back in Bolivia, Jose has been working as a freelancer, for a commercial production company, Blur Studio and for another production company, Unicornio Social. He also worked as a communications assistant in the World Food Programme of the United Nations, where he has written, transcribed and translated documents, from English to Spanish. Through these latter experiences, Jose has written and edited several videos, transcribed tons of interviews and translated plenty of documents (World Food Programme) and dialogues (Production Companies) from Spanish to English and from English to Spanish.
