English to Portuguese: The Social Phobia in Students of College of Medicine of Juazeiro do Norte do Ceará
Source text - English The social phobia is identified as the second most diagnosed among the individuals and can be manifested in individuals aged 5 to 35 years old. This study adopted the general objective estimate the prevalence of social phobia in medical students at a private college in Juazeiro do Norte - CE, followed by the specifics: to describe the social demographic characteristics of medical students; to identify the frequency of physical activity in medical students and to access the association between social phobia and social demographic characteristics and physical activity in medical students. The relevance of this study is to promote reflection on the extent of the problem so that it is not diminished aims to enable the implementation of preventive actions that can improve the mental health of medical students and consequently the formation of more trained physicians to meet the health demands society. The research was characterized as a cross-sectional study of qualitative field where was used the Social Phobia Inventory - SPIN. With the data collected it was observed that (61%) of participants were the female group (31.9%) and that they are current in the first year of the course, 70% single, 79.9% catholic, 37.9% do not exercise and those who practice for more than three months represent 26.1% of this study, the prevalence of social phobia was estimated at 58.8% (table 1). In similar studies by Gómez Sánchez, Valencia and Franco (2008) indicated a prevalence for social phobia of 54.7%, with 1.2% severe anxiety, 12.9% moderate, 40.6 lightweight, getting similar with this study in which more than half the population had social phobia.
Translation - Portuguese A fobia social identificada como a segunda mais diagnosticada entre os indivíduos e pode se manifestar em indivíduos dos 5 aos 35 anos de idade. Este estudo adotou como objetivo geral estimar a prevalência de fobia social em estudantes de medicina em uma faculdade particular em Juazeiro do Norte- CE, seguido dos específicos: Descrever as características sociodemográficos em estudantes de medicina; Identificar a frequência de atividades físicas em estudantes de medicina e Verificar a associação entre fobia social e as características sociodemográficos e atividade física em estudantes de medicina. A relevância deste estudo consiste em promover reflexões sobre a dimensão dessa problemática para que esta não seja subestimada e visa possibilitar a implementação de ações preventivas que possam melhorar a saúde mental dos estudantes de medicina e consequentemente a formação de médicos mais capacitados para atender as demandas de saúde da sociedade. A pesquisa caracterizou-se como um estudo transversal de Campo de caráter qualitativo onde utilizou-se o inventário de fobia social - SPIN. No presente estudo, a prevalência para Fobia Social foi estimada em 58,8% (tabela 1). Com os dados coletados observou-se que (61%) dos participantes eram do sexo feminino, 31,9% estão cursando o primeiro ano do curso, 70% solteiros, 79,9% são católicos, 37,9% não praticam atividade física e que os praticam por mais de três meses representam 26, 1%. Em estudos semelhantes realizados por Gómez, Sánchez, Valencia e Franco (2008) apontaram para uma prevalência de fobia social de 54,7%, sendo 1,2% de ansiedade severa, 12,9% moderada, 40,6 leve, assemelhando-se a este estudo em que mais da metade da população apresentou fobia social.

I studied Philosophy in the University Federal of Ceara, graduated in 2013. Since this day I used to teach Philosophy for high school kids, English and French, independent.
I used to teach English and French in my own house for friends and others.
Since 2010 I began to work with languages, as teaching or as translating. But Languagens have became a big passion of my and a great objective of my studies. In college, It began the activities with translations. With my professors, I started to do jobs for the classes. One job in specific with translating texts in the medium age.
In 2011, my english teacher toke me to the U.S.A., to learn more about the people, the idiom, the culture in general. I spand one month living with different families who toke me as their own.
Since I had finished my bachelor's degree, I've been travelling for different places here in Brazil and other countries like Argentina or Uruguay and had the opportunity to improve the english, french and spanish, and also make contacts around the world. Now the chances to keep in this path of linguistic for translation/interpretation are going to have a great of quality and engagement.
