Si es la primera vez que creas una petición o quieres asegurarte de que lo haces de la manera más eficaz posible, quizá quieras dedicar unos minutos a leer esto.
Recuerda que crear una petición es solo el primer paso de tres fundamentales para que una petición tenga el éxito (resultado) que buscas.

Cuenta una historia interesante... El asunto que te mueve a crear tu petición te importa, claro, pero ¿le importará a más gente? ¿Lo suficiente como para que apoyen o incluso difundan tu petición?
Redacta un texto (explicándole a todo el mundo tu petición y por qué es importante ésta) y tenlo preparado para cuando empieces a rellenar el formulario (crear la petición)

2do paso: Reúne y prepara la información
Antes de iniciar (crear) tu petición, debes tener preparada alguna información. Si la pones por escrito (o la tienes a mano) luego te resultará más fácil iniciar tu petición.

Redacta un texto breve dirigido al destinatario de tu petición en el que se describa con claridad el asunto sobre el que trata tu petición y qué es exactamente lo que le pides que haga al destinatario de la misma. Sé breve y descriptivo.

Think to yourself. If you put it in writing it will help you...

This is your petition.

Tell an interesting story... It is clear that what leads you to create your petition is important to you, but who else cares? Enough people to support or even spread your petition?
Write a text (telling the whole world about your petition and why it is so important) and have it ready for when you start filling in the form (create the petition)

2nd Step: Gather and prepare the information.
Before you initiate (create) your petition you must have some information readily prepared. If you put it into writing (or you have it in hand) it will be much easier for you to create your petition.

This does contribute to the success of your petition.
○ Data Do I have enough data and information about the subject matter and the addressee himself?
This will add consistency and thoroughness to your petition. Be aware that you know about the problem, but that others simply don’t.

Por su parte, el servicio “Master•evangeli.net” publica nuevos comentarios prácticamente cada semana, lo que enriquece también los contenidos de La Tabla de Materias. Habréis notado también que, en estos nuevos comentarios, ya se incluyen citas de los libros y homilías del Papa Francisco, cuyo estilo destaca por ser directo, sencillo y de gran lucidez. LA ENTREVISTA: MÁRIA DOLORES ALCAYNE
Mª Dolores Alcayne nació en Barcelona en 1947. Graduada en Magisterio con 35 años de ejercicio, primordialmente impartiendo clases de Francés y literatura española. En la actualidad estudia Teología, pertenece a la fraternidad cisterciense, imparte catequesis y formación a emigrantes.
¿Cómo nació tu colaboración con evangeli.net?
Zascandileando por Internet en páginas católicas, buscando estar al día de lo que sucede en la Iglesia, y también alimento extra para el espíritu y todo aquello que pudiera acercarme a Cristo, me encontré con la página web de Evangeli.net,. Me gustaron sus comentarios, que ayudaban en las pequeñas dificultades con las nos encontramos día a día, dándonos luz para poder superarlas según el estilo de Cristo. Y clicando en los distintos apartados, me encontré con que el Padre Carol pedía voluntarios para traducciones. Habiendo estudiado Filología Francesa en la Universidad de Lyon y dedicado todo mi magisterio a la enseñanza del idioma francés, teniendo más tiempo libre, pensé que lo que Dios me había dado, bien podía ponerlo a su servicio, así que me ofrecí al Padre Carol para hacer traducciones o lo que hiciera falta. Era la oportunidad de poner en práctica aquello de “dame lo que quieras y pídemelo cuando quieras”. Me dio una gran alegría cuando me contestó aceptándome. Le estoy muy agradecida, porque se desvivió mandándome toda clase de información y ayudándome en mis primeros pasos, explicándome con suma paciencia como era el modo de trabajar. Y así empecé en Enero del 2011.
Explícanos en qué consiste tu colaboración con el proyecto
Desde el principio me dediqué especialmente al “Webmail” (o sea contestando los correos que los suscriptores envían en Francés) y traduciendo newsletters; luego al ponerse en marcha el servicio “Master”, ayudé también en sus traducciones. Desde principios de este año, me han atribuido la tarea de ser coordinadora del equipo de francés. La verdad que es una gozada trabajar con un equipo en el que te sientes tan arropada y como en familia.
¿Qué condiciones crees que debe reunir un colaborador de Evangeli.net?
Ante todo espíritu de servicio, disponibilidad, compromiso y responsabilidad. Y si está concienciado de que con su labor coopera a extender la palabra de Dios por el mundo, debe sentirse orgulloso de que de alguna manera, aunque sea en la retaguardia, está cooperando a la expansión del Evangelio y del conocimiento de Cristo, y trabajando con el santo Padre en la expansión de la Fe.
¿Dónde crees que estará evangeli.net dentro de 10 años?
Como tengo plena confianza en el Espíritu Santo y en la Palabra de Dios que todo lo puede, y con el inapreciable empeño que pone el Padre Carol en crear cada día nuevos hitos, creo que llegará a no mucho tardar a todos los rincones del mundo, porque además, éste está deseando beber de esta fuente viva, que es el Evangelio.

INTERVIEW: MARIA DOLORES ALCAYNE
Mª Dolores Alcayne was born in Barcelona in 1947. After taking her degree in Primary School Teaching she taught French and Spanish literature for 35 years. Today she is studying Theology, is a member of the Cistercian fraternity and teaches Catechism and various skills to emigrants.
How did you start contributing to evangeli.net?
Fussing around on Catholic pages in Internet, catching up with what happens in the Church, and also feeding up my spirit, and anything that might take me closer to Christ I came across Evangeli.net. I liked the posts, which helped with the petty difficulties we encounter every day, casting light on the way to overcoming them in the style of Christ. By visiting the different sections I found out that Fr Carol was looking for voluntary translators. As I had taken a degree on French Philology at the University of Lyon and had given all my working life to the teaching of French, added to the fact that I had more spare time to manage, I thought to myself that what God had given me could very well be put to his service. Thus I volunteered to Fr Carol offering my services as a translator and whatever was needed. It came to me as an opportunity to put into practice the idea of “Give me whatever you want and take it from me whenever you wish”. He made my day when he answered with a yes. I am very grateful to him, because he took pain in sending me all sorts of information and helped me in my first steps. He used a great deal of patience explaining to me how they worked. This was how I started in January 2011.
Tell us about your contribution to the project
At the very beginning I started with the Webmail - answering to the mail messages sent by subscribers in French- and translating newsletters. Later on I also contributed translating the Master Service when it started. I was asked to coordinate the French team at the beginning of this year. It is a real pleasure working where you feel so tucked in like in a family.
What are the conditions required from an evangeli.net contributor?
First and foremost a spirit of service, availability, commitment and responsibility. And if he or she is well aware that his or her work is contributing to spread the Word of God all over the World, he or she will be proud that somehow, even at a rear position, he or she is contributing to the expansion of the Gospel, the knowledge of Christ working together with the Holy Father in spreading the Faith
Where do you think evangeli.net will be positioned in 10 years from now?
As I trust the Holy Spirit wholeheartedly and in the almighty Word of God, and with Fr Carol’s priceless determination in establishing new milestones every day, I believe that in no time it will reach every corner in the World, because this World is thirsty and has a need of this fountain of life which is the Gospel.

Source text - Spanish En estos momentos me encuentro trabajando en el Human Resources Department de la Agency cubriendo las vacaciones de mis compañeros de departamento hasta el 31 de Octubre. Estoy gratamente impresionada con el excelente ambiente de trabajo y el compañerismo que se respira en la agencia, además del enorme interés del trabajo a desempeñar.
Durante estos años he tenido diversas experiencias internacionales. He trabajado en Inglaterra en el departamento de RRHH de una organización realizando selecciones de personal a nivel internacional. También he estudiado y trabajado en Italia. En ambos países me he adaptado con facilidad al idioma y a la manera de trabajar. Estas experiencias, junto a mi manera de ser abierta y tolerante, han contribuido a mejorar mi destreza en ambas lenguas, de las que además poseo certificados oficiales que acreditan mi nivel. También poseo un nivel alto en portugués, debido a que mi familia materna es portuguesa.
Además poseo varios anos de experiencia en Espana como técnico de recursos humanos realizando procesos de selección a distintos niveles, tramitando contratos y nóminas, organizando cursos de formación y gestionando subvenciones en distintos organismos oficiales.

Guidelines for Keeping Your New Body
Sticking with the program for 100 days means adopting it for life!
ONCE you become satisfied with the condition of your body-whether it takes 6 weeks, 12 weeks, or 6 months-your next task is to maintain that status. Doing so requires certain adjustments to the guidelines and practices that you've been applying for the past several months.
Study the following adjustments.
1 ADHERE TO A CARBOHYDRATE-RICH, MODERATE-CALORIE EATING PLAN
Your eating plan is still carbohydrate rich, but you do not need to decrease the calories. You should now raise your calories to a moderate level. Instead of eating from 1,200 to 1,600 calories a day, consume from 1,800 to 2,400 a day. Maybe you can eat even more after your new body weight has stabilized.
There is no way to determine in advance how many calories you will need to maintain your new body weight. Trial-and-error experimentation will make the level obvious.
You should probably begin with 1,800 calories per day and see what happens after a week. If your body weight keeps going down, raise the calories to 1,900 or 2,000, depending on how much weight you lost during the week. Soon you should reach a level where your body weight stabilizes. This level is your daily calorie requirement.
Always keep your calories rich in carbohydrates. The 50-25-25 ratio of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats is not only ideal for losing fat but also appropriate for maintenance. Fruits, vegetables, breads, and cereals are your primary sources of carbohydrates. On your maintenance eating plan, strive each day to consume four servings of vegetables and fruits and four servings of breads and cereals. Doing so will allow your other foods-meats and dairy products to fall into the correct ratio naturally.
2. EAT SMALLER MEALS MORE FREQUENTLY
You've been limiting each of your six meals per day to 400 calories or less. To maintain your body weight, set the limit per meal at 500 calories or less if you're a woman, or 600 calories or less if you're a man. A 500- to 600-calorie meal will still keep the insulin responses small. Furthermore, 500 to 600 calories is something you can easily adapt to-at least, most of the time.
What happens when you occasionally eat more than 500 or 600 calories at one time? Don't panic. Simply understand that you will sometimes backslide. Anticipate, plan, and get back on track.
3. DRINK 128 OUNCES OF COLO WATER EACH DAY
I hope by now you've seen and felt the benefits of drinking plenty of cold water. Make it a permanent part of your new lifestyle to consume 128 ounces, or 1 gallon, of water each day.
4. PERFORM NEGATIVE-ACCENTUATED EXERCISE ONCE A WEEK-OR LESS
You never outgrow your need for larger, stronger muscles. As you age, larger and stronger muscles become more and more important. Bigger muscles improve performance, add shape, stabilize joints, burn more calories, and allow you to live longer stronger.
There are four differences between your maintenance routines and your past workouts.
First, during maintenance, you can introduce more variety to your routine by adding some new exercises and removing some old ones. Some individuals in the Gainesville group, in fact, alternate standard strength-training workouts with negative-accentuated workouts. Standard strength-training routines are thoroughly covered in a previous book of mine titled The New High-Intensity Training (Rodale, 2004).
Second, with maintenance, you can reduce the number of exercises per routine slightly. Instead of doing one set of 10 exercises, try one set of seven or eight exercises. As your muscles get stronger, you actually need less strengthening exercise. For example, your workout might involve two lower-body exercises and five upper-body movements.
Third, some very strong individuals may want to experiment with reducing their frequency of training to one workout every 10 days. My good friend Jim Flanagan is one of the strongest men I know. In 2012, he trained only 36 times-which is a frequency that he considers ideal. And that ideal frequency is once every 10 days.
Fourth, with maintenance, you can add other forms of exercise-such as cardiovascular (Zumba, dancing, Spinning, or swimming) or sports (tennis, golf, basketball, or running) back into your weekly lifestyle.
5. WALK AFTER YOUR EVENING MEAL
Walking with food in your stomach is a good way to relax and burn extra calories. Although it's not necessary to do every day of the week, you should still take advantage of this effect often during your maintenance plan.
6. SLEEP AN EXTRA HOUR EACH NIGHT
Extra sleep is like extra water: You didn't know what you were missing until you tried it. It will be to your advantage to maintain your sleeping schedule every night you can.
7. APPLY OTHER FAT-LOSS PRACTICES
You may apply the fat-loss practices from Part V anytime they are needed during your maintenance program. With an understanding of these concepts, your arsenal should remain well stocked.
Internalize for Success
Over the years, I've trained thousands of people to build muscle and lose weight. Those who kept the fat off have done so because of internalization. The salient rules-for example eat smaller meals, super hydrate your system, keep your muscles strong-have been internalized. "Internalizing" simply means making an action rote or automatic.
How long does it take to internalize? Behavioral psychologists say that it
WHAT WE CAN LEARN FROM COACH BOB KNIGHT
WHEN I WAS GROWING UP IN TEXAS, I played a lot of football and basketball. All my best coaches were former military men who believed in hard-nosed discipline, telling their athletes what not to do, and punishment for continued mistakes. When Bob Knight achieved notoriety coaching basketball at Indiana University during the 1970s, I was attracted to his tough techniques and outspoken behaviors.
I've never met Bob Knight, but I feel like I know him. He's been interviewed numerous times on television, and he's frequently a guest commentator as part of ESPN's basketball coverage. Knight never hesitates to "tell it like he sees it," which usually involves listing of mistakes and more mistakes.
Knight's 2013 book, The Power of Negative Thinking, with its creative title, was a meaningful study for me. In fact, what he says about winning an important game has direct application to fat-off maintenance. In his book, Knight advises that after winning a big game, you should get over it quickly, because a happy moment can keep you from preparing adequately for the next opponent.
Winning one game does not make a season. Success is not short term.
It takes 21 days to establish a pattern and 100 days to make it automatic.
I've observed similar time spans among my group participants. The Body Fat Breakthrough gets easier for most individuals after 3 weeks. If they stick with the discipline for 3 months, their daily behaviors adapt and become almost automatic. I believe there's power in 100 days. These 100-day men and 100-day women have a higher probability of keeping off their lost fat permanently.
You might say that automatic behavior in eating and exercising requires 100 days. But is that truly automatic? With some individuals, yes. With others, no. My experience in working with thousands of men and women shows that 200 days of practice is better than 100. Within reason, more is better.
Practice and more practice of proper eating and exercise is the key to losing fat. More important, because you are building a strong shield against the temptation to return to your old ways of coping, more compliance is the key to making sure your lost fat stays off for good.
Success is a long, enduring grind. Success is operating at a high level, with mini
mal mistakes, on a consistent basis.
If Bob Knight was speaking to my graduating class of Body Fat Breakthrough
participants or to you, he might say:

para mantener tu
nuevo cuerpo
¡Atenerse al programa durante 100 días significa adoptarlo para toda la vida!
Una vez estás satisfecho con las condiciones de tu cuerpo -tanto si te lleva 6 semanas, 12 semanas o 6 meses- tu nueva tarea será mantener tu estatus. Hacer esto requiere ciertos ajustes a las directrices y prácticas que has estado aplicando los últimos meses. Una comida de 500 a 600 calorías mantendrá la respuesta de la insulina baja. Má aun, 500 a 600 calorías es algo a lo que fácilmente podrás adaptarte -al menos, la mayor parte del tiempo.

Bob tendría razón. Prevenir es mejor que curar. La buena preparación y planificación, junto a un saludable pensamiento negativo, es siempre la mejor aproximación, más que ir hacia delante con un celo desbordado.
