Source text - Spanish Hace un tiempo había equipos de marca y equipos "clónicos". Las diferencias estaban tanto en el preciom como en el verdadero fabricante de los componentes.
Ahora esas diferencias se han reducido y a las marcas de toda la vida se añaden nuevos nombres como Mountain.
Este SLiM 544G es un equipo de pequeñas dimensiones, Su pantalla de 14 pulgadas facilita que pueda utilizar un chasis muy compacto de tan solo 11 milímetros de espesor. Todo ello con un peso de apenas 2.15 kilos.
El Mountain SLiM 544G ha sido fabricado en un plástico bastante resistente. La textura que se ha dado a su exterior intenta imitar al metal/aluminio.
En general ofrece un buen tacto y la textura a la que hacemos referencia ayuda a que sea agarre con firmeza.
La pantalla es uno de los elementos más importantes y su resolución nos da muchas pistas: no es FULL HD, se queda en 1366x786, que para navegar en Internet o usar programas de ofimática está muy bien, aunque puede ser algo escasa para vídeos HD.
Tampoco utlilza la tecnología LCD IPS, por lo que el ángulo de visión ideal es algo limitado.

The SLiM 544G is a laptop of small dimensions. Its 14" screen allows it to be more compact which can be seen in its 11mm thickness. All of this with a weight of just 2.15kg.
The Mountain SLiM 544G has been built in a high resistant plastic case. The texture of this case looks and gives a feeling of metal/aluminum.
In general it has a good feel to it and the texture to which we have made reference to allows for a good grip when holding.
The screen is one of the more important elements and its resolution can give us clues to its usage: it's not FULL HD, with a resolution of 1366x786, which for navigating the Internet or use of office tools is great it can be lacking when watching HD videos.
Neither does it use LCD IPS technology, which means that the ideal angle of vision can be somewhat limited.

My name is Robert Ward-Harris and I'm a British Expat living in Spain.
Because my high school qualifications were made obsolete I had to continue my studies here and in a language I didn't understand. Within 8 months I had grasped enough of the language to pass all my subjects.
From here I continued my studies in I.T and received my certificado en "Explotaciones de Sistemas Informáticas de Grado Medio.".
My translating experience over the past 8 years has gone from personal and family to more work related.
I now live in an area where there is a lot of tourism and many British expats have now taken residence here. This means that various companies have hired me to translate publicity and expats have also asked for my assistance in interpreting.
I love this work and enjoy the challenge each new project brings.
