Bio
I am a Spanish native, originally from Madrid, but I spent 15 years in the UK. I have a Bachelor’s Degree + Master's Degree in History, as well as a Master’s Degree in Translating and a PGCE, among other qualifications. I am also fluent in Italian (I lived in Rome for one year). 

I have extensive experience in the publishing industry, having worked as a translator, proofreader, editor and copywriter for over 15 years. 

As a translator, my main fields of expertise are History and History of Art, and generally the Humanities and Social Sciences.

I am a Chartered Linguist of the Institute of Linguists in the UK. I am also a member of the Translation Section of the Writers' Association (Spain).

I am proficient in the use of CAT Tools, I am Trados certified (Advanced) and use Trados Studio, MemoQ and Wordfast.
