Source text - English Take a trip to Radiator springs,
it’s such a colourful little town!
There are busy shops with twinkling
signs, and lots of cars cruising
up and down.
Lightning’s a red car,
he likes driving very fast.
When he’s in a race,
he doesn’t like coming last!
Doc Hudson is a doctor,
he’s a lovely shade of blue.
He fixes faulty engines,
and makes them good as new.
Luigi runs the tyre shop,
he’s a jolly shade of yellow.
He comes from sunny Italy,
and he’s a very stylish fellow.
Translation - Portuguese Vamos até Radiador Springs passear,
É uma pequena cidade cheia de vida!
Tem lojas movimentadas com sinais a piscar
E imensos carros a passarem pela avenida.
Vermelho é a cor do Faísca
Ele gosta de acelerar.
Quando está na pista,
Nunca é o último a chegar!
O Doc Hudson é um doutor
Azul é a sua cor.
Carros avariados gosta de consertar
E pôr motores novamente a trabalhar.

SILLA
It is impossible to know who you really are until you spend time alone in a cemetery. The headstone was cold against my back, pressing my thin T-shirt into the sweat trickling down my skin. Dusk washed the cemetery of shadows, lending it a quality of between-ness:neither day nor night, but a gray, teary moment. I sat with my legs crossed and the book in my lap. Beneath me, scraggly grass hid my parents’ graves.I brushed dirt of the front cover of the book. It was the size of a paperback novel, so small and insignificant-seeming between my hands. The mahogany leather cover was soft and scuffed from years of use; the color had worn off the corners. The pages used to be gilded, but that was rubbed off, too.Cracking it open, I read the inscription again, whispering it to myself, making it more real.
Notes on Transformation and Transcendence
Oh, what this too, too solid flesh would melt, thaw, and resolve itself into a dew. - Shakespeare
Translation - Portuguese Capítulo Dois
SILLA
− Shakespeare

Source text - English Glorious me!
Greetings, inferior one. I am Vordak the Incomprehensible. Who you are doesn't matter. What does matter is my dastardly decision to add the world of book publishing to my growing list of conquests. Without even trying very hard, I have created a book of such unbelievable brilliance that it dwarfs all other literature preceding it through the course of human history. The wisdom contained within these pages is such humongousness that it offers even a piddling piece of pond scum such as yourself the opportunity to one day grow up and rule the world! Muahahahaha!!!
All right, hold on . . . Give me a second, here. The level of blowharded-ness I unleashed in that opening paragraph has left me a bit winded. No less evil, mind you, but winded.
That’s right—I’m evil. Extremely evil. Evil is who and what I am. And as you can see from my awe-inspiring costume, I make no attempts to hide my evilosity from the world at large. I am tremendously proud of my heartless nature, and if you have any hopes of eventually becoming planetary dictator, you, too, will need to embrace your inner evil. I’m not talking “break your mother’s favorite ceramic egg and blame it on your little brother” evil. I’m talking “willing to pull the moon into a collision course with the Earth by means of a powerful, nuclear-powered tractor beam in order to get your way” evil. I’m talking incredibly evil. Worse than your orthodontist.
I have decided to share a portion of my never-ending knowledge with those of you who prove to have “what it takes,” which in this case happens to be £5.99. I realize that seems like quite a bit of money for a book, but when you consider the payoff is possession of all the wealth of human civilization, it’s got to be worth £12.99 easy. Within these pages you’ll find instructions, advice, charts, and illustrations, all of which were carefully crafted for the specific purpose of making the book thicker. I “auditioned” seventeen illustrators before finding one who could meet deadlines while generating artwork I deemed acceptable to include in the book.
I would have done it myself, but I did not want the magnificence of my artistic talent distracting readers from the text.
Translation - Portuguese Sou glorioso!
Saudações, ser inferior. Chamo-me Vordak, o Incompreensível.

Source text - English Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
In what distant deeps or skies.
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand, dare seize the fire?
And what shoulder, & what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand? & what dread feet?
What the hammer? what the chain,
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp,
Dare its deadly terrors clasp!
When the stars threw down their spears
And water’d heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?
Tyger Tyger burning bright,
In the forests of the night:
What immortal hand or eye,
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?
Translation - Portuguese Tigre! Tigre! De um intenso brilhar
Nas florestas da noite a vaguear
Que imortal mão ou olhar
Poderiam a tua terrível simetria capturar.
Tigre! Tigre! De um intenso brilhar
Nas florestas da noite a vaguear
Que imortal mão ou olhar
Se atreve a tua terrível simetria capturar?
