I was born and raised in Romania where I first discovered my passion for languages and earned my BA in modern languages (English and French). Since then, all my professional endeavors involved working with foreign languages, either as a translator, interpreter, or language teacher. 

My extensive experience working with written texts consists of 14 years of translation and copy editing jobs in various subjects (technical, legal, financial, IT, medical, insurance, fiction, non-fiction) for translation agencies, corporate, and direct clients, between Romanian, English, and French. Additionally, I have over 9 years of experience teaching French and English writing and linguistics classes at Arizona State University while working towards my two advanced degrees, one Master’s in French linguistics and one PhD in applied linguistics, both earned from Arizona State University. 

I have lived in the sunny city of Phoenix, Arizona for 12 years and, because I love traveling, I have visited many wonderful places within the United States, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. 

Some of my best assets as a translator are excellent work ethics, written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, intercultural awareness, and the drive to always deliver the best end products. These are the result of my varied work experience, academic excellence, passion for working with multiple languages, and intercultural exchanges.
