3. Ali: Bestimmt.
4. Emmi: Vielleicht…
Ali: Yes?
Emmi: Ach, nichts, ich dachte nur … Ich, alte Frau, ich …
5. Ali: Du nicht alte Frau, du viel gut. Große Herz.
6. Emmi: Ja? … Mein Gott. (Sie fängt an zu weinen)
Ali: Nichts weinen. Bitte, warum weinen?
7. Ali: Nichts Angst. Angst nichts gut. Angst essen Seele auf.
8. Emmi: Angst ißt Seele auf. Das klingt schön. Sagt man so bei euch?

11. Ali: Meister sauer mit Ali, viel gemein.

In Emmi’s kitchen the morning after she invited Ali, an immigrant worker from Morocco, to stay the night.
1. Ali: Your coffee, always good.
2. Emmi: I'm sure you'll like my cooking if you come and try it.
3. Ali: Of course.
4. Emmi: Perhaps…
Ali: Yes?
Emmi: Oh nothing, I just thought… I'm, an old lady, I’m…
5. Ali: You not old, you good. Big heart.
6. Emmi: Yes? … My God. (She begins to cry)
Ali: No cry. Please, why cry?
Emmi: Because I am so happy, and because I have so much fear.
7. Ali: No fear. Fear bad. Fear eats soul.
8. Emmi: Fear eats the soul. That sounds nice. A Moroccan saying?
9. Ali: Yes, all Arabs say that.
10. Ali: It's late. Must go. Come late, not good.
11. Ali: Boss bad mood with Ali, much mean.
12. Emmi: Yes, I have to go too, we can go down together.

Source text - German Mt Coot-tha Forest
Mt Coot-tha Forest is part of Brisbane Forest Park, a 28,500 hectare nature reserve. Mt Coot-tha Forest occupies about 1,500 hectares and is managed by Brisbane City Council.
Sir Samuel Griffith Drive is an excellent scenic drive winding up the eastern slopes of the Taylor Range to the Mt Coot-tha Lookout. The Lookout is the traditional place to take out-of-town visitors on their arrival to Brisbane. Here, panoramic views of the Great Dividing Range, Moreton Bay and islands, the City and surrounding suburbs are guaranteed. You will also find a tea house and restaurant for light refreshments or more formal dining. The scenic drive then follows the ridge line for several kilometres and descends to Simpson’s Road (passing recreation area at Simpson Falls). A night visit to Mt Coot-tha offers a whole new view of the City with its fairyland of lights.
