Source text - Italian Chi e' Francesca Romana Correale?
A primo colpo d'occhio. Come effettivamente sta accadendo.
In modo aperto, onesto e costante.
Translation - English Who is Francesca Romana Correale?
I was born into a very traditional, down-to-earth family from which I learned to appreciate beauty when defined by quality. Such beauty could be found in both a person’s personality and in objects. When I was just four, I emigrated to Venezuela, at a moment in which the country was going through a dynamic reality of growth and wellbeing, and the spirit of the whole entity was building a new world. This ambience was the breeding ground for the ideas carried out by great architects, artists and writers... among which was the Italian Gio Ponti.
Cultural traits from the entire world were generously interwoven creating an unique dynamic. This vitality has lived on inside me.
How was this revolutionary “handle concept” born?
Venezuela has taught me to search relentlessly for beauty in the true nature of things and people. To go beyond the limits of what is possible and to refuse any sort of compromise. I have always sought , I still seek, infinite beauty, be it in people, art, fashion or in poetry and music. What the “new world” teaches you is that you can create from scratch. Therefore, beauty, in my imagery, is not a fixed line and is not limited to the legacy of an oppressive, ever present, past. The “new world” has taught me to believe in and to look for small, true revolutions. Everything seems, and is, possible. And this is how the seed for these handles has grown: slowly, over a long time.
How do you explain your creativity?
My creativity is born from observation and from questioning the rules. It is born from the stimuli that subconsciously I have received from my contact with art, music, people and nature. For instance, I speak of “questioning the rules” because normally, when designing a fashion product, you must follow certain rules.
These rules are rarely broken because there are marketing and production requirements that prevent it. I have asked myself whether it was really necessary, in order to define a product, to repeat a brand a thousand times over, thus suffocating it and making it ugly. Besides, bags have become vulgar due to the indiscriminate use of accessories, which just underlines what those bags are not. The result is an object that can be beautiful but is intentionally short-lived. Its interest and wearability will last only for one season. Instead, I have intended to do the opposite: to give aesthetical prominence to pure lines and basic elements, devoid of the concept of time. My purpose is to create objects that are immediately recognisable and referable to the brand at first sight. Instantly. As it is actually happening. Girls walk past a lady with one of my bags and they go “ahhh, that's a Correale bag”. This is the ideal and the backbone of the RC brand.
Why are you so bound to territory? Why are you so strongly passionate about this fight for local production, with such high costs and long production times?
My brand is strongly bound to territory. The human side of this brand has deep roots in the Siena region, in its culture and landscape. I’d even dare say, in the food of the Siena region. Choosing ostrich leather was no accident. These animals were, until not so long ago, even bred in the Tuscany region. This is a wordly sense of beauty. It is fully linked to handcrafts and attached to the quality of local products.
This is, by definition, a territorial brand .
However this Brand is also, undoutedly, very, very personal, isn't it?
Yes, indeed. RC is infused with my peronality, and yet it is also an ideology. This ideology is shown in the durability of its products which, due both to their quality and their design, would like to travel through time and belong to any season or generation. RC is, by definition, the antithesis of fashion.
Why have you chosen to be in the social media?
This is another very personal choice. I have a frantic need to communicate, for which my dearest and most distant friends can testify. The brand faces the world and communicates with it in the same way I communicate with my loved ones: in an open, honest, constant manner. The only situation in which I “do not communicate or refuse communication” is when I am in deep distress or sorrow. I rarely want or seek to open up to the others at these times.
According to you, what is the perfect object?
The perfect object, for me, has no time or sex, but it does have a soul!
Just like angels. I think I have achieved such perfection only in the Skull computer bag in ostrich leather. It is bought and desired by men and women alike. Besides, it is eternal in its quality and practicality. Whoever has one, defends it with their very life!
Why should a woman use an RC?
A woman should use RC only if she feels the need to escape clichés and wants to be at the avant garde with style and quality, knowing that her personality has been defined by herself and by her behaviour; a woman who is only equiped with and accompanied by my brand as a sign of success. But never as a substitute for her personality nor for her potential. These are something you are born with, not something you become. This woman is a dynamic woman, in perpetual movement, able to manage work and family without losing her femininity.

Source text - English Also in June, nearly 430 roadsters and 660 people travelled from across North America to Maggie Valley, North Carolina, for the fourth annual North American XYZ Owners Event, making it the largest roadster gathering to date.
Owners came from as far away as Europe. The event began with a rousing Friday night welcome at the Maggie Valley Festival Grounds. Saturday featured all-day rides through the scenic Smoky Mountains. An intense afternoon thunderstorm was no deterrent, serving instead to prove the safety and stability of the XYZ roadster in quickly changing weather conditions.
Rhonda Marsh of Sevierville, Tennessee, won $1,500 in XYZ parts and accessories for her best-in-show modified SRS roadster, while Lowell Kursinsky of Warren, Michigan, won the grand prize draw for an all-expenses-paid trip for two to the 2012 Pan-European XYZ Roadster Owners Event next summer.
The weekend closed with an optional Sunday ride on the famous “Tail of the Dragon” section of US-129, an 18-km (11 miles) stretch of road known for its more than 300 curves.

Source text - English Amsterdam holidays
Amsterdam oozes opulent, Golden Age flair. Elaborate merchant’s mansions and tall, narrow canal houses reflect this key 17th century period of unrivalled prosperity, captured in the city’s museums by artists like Rembrandt and Vermeer. The Dutch capital’s many grachten canals fan out from city centre hub Dam Square, where the imposing grey stone Royal Palace presides over al fresco cafés and criss-crossing tramlines. Join the locals on your Amsterdam trip to explore this gradient-free city by cycling along its maze of canalside towpaths
Things to do on holiday in Amsterdam
Marvel at bright still lifes like Sunflowers on your Amsterdam holiday at the cylindrical1970s Van Gogh Museum on green Museumplein. For a breath of fresh Flanders air roam vast Vondelpark nearby, landscaped with lakes and fountains and home to open-air theatre in summer. Houseboats bloom on tranquil Singel Canal at the daily Bloemenmarkt floating flower market. Night owls choose Amsterdam holidays for the multitude of bars, nightclubs and liberal ‘coffee’ shops in the city’s risqué De Wallen old town red light district.
Eating and drinking on Amsterdam holidays
Restaurants around café-culture Rembrandtsplein and Leidseplein squares serve up hearty Edam and Gouda kaas rolls for brunch and typical Erwtensoep meaty pea soup for lunch. If you have a sweet tooth, you’ll get a sugary fix on your Amsterdam trip with syrupy stroopwafel waffle sandwiches and creamy pannekoeken at Albert Cuyp Market. For midnight munchies after pints of locally brewed Heineken, feast on cheap croquettes, sandwiches and burgers from novelty FEBO vending machines all around the city.
Shopping for great Amsterdam deals
Amsterdam’s neo-gothic Head Post Office is having its renaissance as the Magna Plaza shopping mall with trendy, high street names like Mango and Miss Sixty. We like to take home blue-painted Delftware Dutch pottery and quirky, hand-painted clogs from gifts shops around Dam Square in central Amsterdam. Dealers in vintage clothing and recycled DVDs line the eccentric, six-day Waterlooplein flea market. On more extravagant Amsterdam holidays, take your credit cards to grand Hooftstraat in swanky Oud-Zuid district to splash out on Hermès and Gucci.
When to take your Amsterdam trip
Amsterdam fills with tulips when the kaleidoscopic local bulb fields bloom in spring.Time your Amsterdam trip in warm August and you can enjoy musical events like the Grachtenfestival, when jazz bands serenade audiences from pontoons in the Prinsengracht Canal. Amsterdam gets festive in chilly December when Museumplein becomes a winter wonderland with a huge skating rink and fairy-lit Christmas market.
Cuándo viajar a Ámsterdam

Source text - English Top 10 free things to do in Copenhagen
Ignore Scandinavia’s expensive reputation – Copenhagen has plenty of things to do that don’t cost a thing. State art museums, bike hire, parks and all-night dance parties break the Scandinavian stereotype. Here are 10 of the best of free Copenhagen.
Free cycle hire in Copenhagen
Copenhagen is kind to cyclists and locals take advantage of the wide bike lanes lining most roads. Renting a two-wheeler is the best way to get around town quickly and is a healthier alternative to buses. The city’s free bikes can be hired at 110 bike racks around the city centre between April and November for a DKK20 deposit.
Preserved bog girl at the National Museum
The free National Museum's permanent prized exhibit is the embalmed body of the Bronze Age Egtved girl. Her 3,500-year-old preserved oak coffin has maintained her body, clothes, comb, bracelets and blonde hair eerily intact.
Pristine parklands in Copenhagen
Wake up early and experience the summer sun on your face with a walk around Orsteds park, Frederiksberg Garden or Vondelpark. Fountains, sculptures and street performers keep the interest high.
Free Sundays at Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek
After a bite in the glass-domed Winter Garden, explore the post-Impressionists’ gallery upstairs. As well as pieces by Toulouse-Lautrec and Van Gogh, the museum has one of the world’s richest collections of Gaugins. Gaugin was married to a Dane, and the light captured in many of his paintings reflects the work of other Danish painters and of Denmark’s landscape itself.
Swimming at Islands Brygge
Swimming right in the centre of downtown Copenhagen is the perfect way to cool off from the swelter of a Scandinavian summer. The waterfront Havneparken of this quiet residential neighbourhood, stretching from Langebro in the north to Bryggebroen in the south, is among Copenhagen’s most popular spots for taking a midday or evening dip.
Walk in Christiania
The hippie ‘free town’ of Christiania is free in every way. Spend a few hours in the area, filled with inventive murals and sculptures and abuzz with quirky characters.
Entrancing art at Denmark's National Gallery
The only museum in Denmark with 700 years of Western art and cultural history under one roof holds old masters such as Matisse. Lesser-known Danish works are equally astounding. Be transfixed by Danish painter J.F Willumsen's 1912 A Mountain Climber.
Dance till dawn at Ideal Bar's Club Night
Copenhagen's trendy set comes out in droves to party at VEGA bar's street-level lounge. From Wednesdays to Saturdays the club hosts themed evenings, with free entry for all.
Changing of the guard at Amalienborg
Poker-faced guards change position every day of the year at noon outside the royal Amalienborg Palace. During the ‘Vagtparade’, the guards are relieved by colleagues arriving on foot from Rosenborg Castle. It’s a tradition accompanied by music if the queen or other royal family members are present at the palace.
Art Previews at Larm Gallery
Get your fill of modern art at this recent addition to Copenhagen’s galleries. Most galleries hold free previews on Fridays from 5pm. Larm in Valby comprises five separate galleries and hosts free previews on Thursdays.

The main points of the test that have to be carried:
• Cleaning / degreasing surface;
• Application of penetrant;
• Penetration time;
• Excess penetrant removal;
• Drying;
• Application of developer;
• Developing time;
• Inspection.
7.1 CLEANING
The purpose of cleaning is to eliminate any traces of dirt or grease from the surface to be inspected and from the possible breaking defects, so that it does not interfere with the penetrant's action.
7.2 APPLICATION OF PENETRANT
• Spray the penetrant on the part to be inspected so that the surface is completely covered.
o In high temperatures, reapply the penetrant.
• Penetration time: 15 minutes
7.3 EXCESS PENETRANT REMOVAL
• Remove any excess penetrant using a water jet with a pressure below 2.5 bar.
- Be careful to remove all traces of penetrant without overusing the water jet.
• Dry the surface to be inspected carefully with a clean cloth or paper.
• Avoid fluff or loose threads
• Apply the developer within 3-5 minutes.
7.4 APPLICATION OF DEVELOPER
• Spray a thin, uniform layer of developer onto the surface to be inspected, so that it completely covers the area that needs inspection.
7.5 INSPECTION
• Developing time: 7 to 30 minutes.
• Follow any instructions on the developer;
• Carry out the inspection ( at >1000 LUX).
8. ACCEPTABILITY CRITERIA
The purpose of this phase is to define the criteria for the acceptability of the breaking defects revealed. The following marks mean unacceptable defects:
• Circular red marks with a diameter over 1.5mm.
• Linear red marks over 1.5mm long and 1mm wide.
Those pieces considered defective must be submitted to the repair procedure, after which they should undergo another liquid penetrant test.
9. REGISTRATION AND CERTIFICATION
When requested in the order, a “Liquid penetrant test report” will be issued (see attachment 1) where all the order's details and the product identification, test conditions and results obtained, are included .
