Lo sé, y sin embargo, escribo estas líneas para decirte allá donde estés que por fin he cumplido la promesa de honrar tu memoria con aquello que en mi infancia me hablaba más de ti; tus viejas zapatillas de estudiante becado en Oxford, y Williot, el perro que te acompaño fiel hasta su muerte.

I know that, but anyway I’m writing these lines to tell you, wherever you are, that I’ve finally managed to fulfil my promise to honour your memory with the things that I most associated with you during my childhood: your old ‘Oxford scholar’ shoes, and Williot, the dog who was loyal to you right up to his death.
With Williot, I express all these emotions, probably the most genuine that a man can feel. I also show the satisfaction of doing things properly, just as they used to be done, by hand, as well as the pride of having developed a brand suitable for demanding and independent people.
