Basic summary:
Originally I was a geologist who specialised in volcanology and experimental geoscience. For my PhD I worked a lot on materials science, analytical techniques (both destructive and nondestructive), chemical engineering and atmospheric science as well as the geological side of things.
I completed my PhD in France before undertaking a European Marie-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship in CNRS laboratory ( ISTO-CNRS).
After this I took a MBA with a specialisation in change management and technology and a French Masters degree in change management and communication. Following this I performed consulting missions for various clients including blue-chip companies.
Over the period of a couple of years I worked with a colleague on launching a Hedge Fund for qualified investors. My role the development and implementation of automated trading strategies.
More recently I managed a project for the importation of a product based upon a nanomaterial that was to have been used in the logistics and transportation industry.
I have lived in France since the start of 1998 and have also worked in Germany and Chile amongst other places.
