Source text - Polish Testuję opisywany system od dwóch lat, grając na różnych interwałach czasowych jednocześnie, przy użyciu par walutowych i niektórych najpopularniejszych indeksów (np. Dow Jones i DAX). Przez ten czas do strategii zostały wprowadzone drobne poprawki celem poprawienia ogólnej wydajności i zwiększenia dochodowości, jednakże podstawowe założenia pozostały nietknięte. Trafną ilustracją fundamentów mej metody i jej głównej idei są dwa popularne powiedzenia rynkowe:
1. Trend is your friend (trend jest Twoim przyjacielem)
2. Forex = make it simple (Forex = im prościej, tym lepiej)
Doświadczenie nauczyło mnie, że tylko techniki podążania za trendem okazują się dochodowe, a określanie dominującego trendu jest niezmiernie ważne w tradingu. Jednakże sama liczba dostępnych wskaźników trendu wraz z ich zmiennymi parametrami może zniechęcić i wprowadzić w błąd każdą osobę chętną do zaprzyjaźnienia się z grą opartą na trendzie. Dlatego też postanowiłem ułatwić sprawę.
Gdy rozpocząłem badania rynku cztery lata temu, najpierw przejrzałem większość systemów dostępnych komercyjnie online, a dopiero później skierowałem uwagę na banki i innych międzynarodowych inwestorów instytucyjnych. Pierwsze rozwiązanie było kompletną stratą czasu i pieniędzy, natomiast drugie okazało się bezcenne. Dowiedziałem się, że techniki inwestycyjne używane przez współczesnych gigantów finansjery są praktycznie takie same, jak przed epoką tradingu algorytmicznego, Expert Advisorów, MetaTraderów i Metastocków. Oczywiście obecnie kreślenie wykresów stało się dużo prostsze dzięki wyspecjalizowanemu oprogramowaniu, lecz metody wykorzystywane przez największych inwestorów pozostają niezmienione.
Translation - English I have been testing the described trading system for two years, trading currency pairs and some of the most popular indices (e.g. Dow Jones and DAX) at various timeframes simultaneously. Throughout that period minor tweaks have been added to the strategy in order to improve its overall performance and to increase profitability, yet the core concepts remain untouched. The foundation and main idea of my method can be aptly illustrated by two common market proverbs:
1. Trend is your friend
2. Forex = make it simple
My experience taught me that only trend following trading techniques prove profitable and that determining the prevailing trend is of utmost importance in trading. However, the sheer number of available trend indicators, together with all their adjustable parameters can confuse and daunt any person willing to become friends with trend trading. That is the reason why I decided to make things simple.
When I began my market research four years ago, first I reviewed most of the retail systems available online, and only then did I turn my attention to banks and other international institutional investors. The former solution turned out to be a complete waste of time and money, whereas the latter proved to be invaluable. I learned that investing techniques used by contemporary financial giants are virtually the same as they were before the era of algorithmic trading, Expert Advisors, MetaTraders and Metastocks. Obviously, nowadays charting has become much easier owing to the specialized software, yet the methods employed by the largest investors remain unchanged.

W branży deweloperskiej od kilku lat funkcjonują pewne utarte standardy dotyczące działań marketingowych, a w szczególności media mix. Standardem stało się eksploatowanie: Internetu, outdooru, prasy (głównie lokalnych dodatków branżowych) i lokalnego radia jako medium wspomagającego. Poza tym firmy developerskie usiłują wychodzić w aktywnościach typu special events poza standardowe targi, organizując dni otwarte oraz inne mniej lub bardziej oryginalne celowane wydarzenia promocyjne. W przypadku inwestycji premium stosuje się identyczne narzędzia, przy czym media lokalne zastępują ogólnopolskie. Reasumując, media mix w strategiach poszczególnych firm jest identyczny, różnią się wagi budżetowe nałożone na poszczególne media oraz mniej lub bardziej indywidualne podejście do poszczególnych produktów–inwestycji. Wyraźnie można zaobserwować stale rosnącą rolę Internetu, gdzie (poza reklamą display-ową, kontekstową, e – mailingiem, pozycjonowaniem w wyszukiwarkach) marki developerów coraz widoczniej, choć wciąż dość sztampowo pojawiają się w social media (Facebook). Na ten moment, aktywności marketingowe w social media (inicjowane przez działy marketingu) są traktowane stricte wizerunkowo. Internet z roku na rok zyskuje procentowy udział w budżetach marketingowych (mediowych) i w dającej się przewidzieć przyszłości jego rola będzie rosła.

Marketing of development companies in Poland
In the development sector certain well defined and common standards have been established in recent years as regards marketing activities, especially media mix. It has become a standard practice to exploit the following: the Internet, outdoor, the press (mainly local specialized supplements) and local radio stations as a supporting medium. Moreover, in activities such as special events, development companies try to expand beyond conventional trades by organizing open days and other more or less original targeted promotional events. In the case of premium investment identical tools are employed, the only difference being the replacement of local media with national ones. To summarize, media mix in strategies of particular companies is virtually identical, the only differentiating factors being the budget distribution for particular media and the level of individual approach to particular products-investments. It is clearly visible that there has been a constant growth of the importance of the Internet, where (apart from display and contextual advertising, e-mailing, as well as positioning in search engines) development brands have been making more and more significant, yet still unoriginal appearance in social media (Facebook). For the time being, marketing activities in social media (initiated by marketing departments) are treated strictly in terms of image. Year after year, the internet has been gaining percentage share in marketing (media) budgets and its role will grow in the predictable future.
